How Formalwear Alterations Are Planned
StitchCraft Studio begins with an appointment and a garment review. We look at the fabric, construction, seam allowances, and the fit you want before outlining the alteration scope.
The first fitting helps confirm what can be adjusted comfortably. After that, we prepare a written plan and quote based on the garment construction and the number of changes required.
Measured fitting, clear scope, and careful finishing
For suits, jackets, trousers, and other formal garments, each adjustment starts with an in-person assessment.
Our formalwear work includes suit-jacket fit adjustment, formal-trouser alterations, shirt and blouse refitting, and coat and blazer sleeve adjustment. We also offer a formalwear fitting package for clients who need a coordinated result across the full outfit.
Once the work is approved, alterations move forward with a final fitting and a collection check. We also provide care and pressing notes so you know how to handle the garment after pickup.
