Formalwear Alterations That Respect the Original Line
Formalwear alterations begin with a careful review of the garment construction, fabric, and current condition. That first inspection helps determine what can be adjusted and what level of fit is realistic for the piece.
Common requests include jacket fit adjustment, trouser length changes, sleeve adjustments, and refitting for shirts or blouses worn with formal outfits. Each piece is assessed individually so the alteration plan matches the garment, not just the measurement.
Fit is checked on the garment, then the alteration plan is confirmed before work begins.
For suits, jackets, trousers, and occasion wear that need a cleaner fit without losing their structure.
Our process is appointment-led and designed to keep the work clear from start to finish. After the first fitting, you receive a written scope and quote based on the garment and the requested adjustments before approved tailoring begins.
At collection, a final fit check is included, along with care and pressing notes so you know how to handle the garment after pickup. If additional work is needed, it is discussed and approved first.
